Inspiration for the Macbeth poster design:
The first act of Shakespeare’s shortest tragedy opens amidst thunder and lightning with the Three Witches deciding that their next meeting shall be with Macbeth. In the following scene, a wounded sergeant reports to King Duncan of Scotland that his loyal generals – Macbeth, who is the Thane of Glamis, and Banquo – have just defeated the allied forces of Norway and Ireland, who were led by the traitor Macdonwald.

About the artist:
Ryan Stiner is an artist working and living in southeast Michigan with his wife and two cats. He is employed by Zingerman’s Service Network, part of the Zingerman’s Community of Businesses as an “illustrator and thing-maker” and spends most of his days painting loaves of bread and wedges of cheese, photographing sandwiches and bbq pits, sculpting fake foods, or gluing magnets to wood. When he isn’t at work, he’s usually at home painting or working on his website.
