Set during the Great Depression, the optimistic orphan Annie strikes out into the world hoping to find her parents. She endures the conniving shenanigans of Miss Hannigan, befriends a canine, and all who she encounters are taken in by her sunny spirit and anticipations that the sun will come out tomorrow.

About the artist:

Laura Howell recently graduated from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. She is from Northern California by way of Minnesota and Oklahoma; she yearns to travel, explore, and experience the world. She is pursuing her career in graphic design with an internship at the in-house design agency of E & J Gallo in Modesto, California. She is excited to continue learning from the many talented creatives she is sure to encounter there.
