Apple has always relied heavily on user feedback before putting the finishing touches on any of their products. The iPad 3 is no different. The artists at Subplot Studio were lucky enough to try out the new iPad 3 this week. And they were blown away by the latest evolution of Apple’s technology. Here are some of the features that had those lucky bastards shedding tears of joy:
Classic wooden look with protruding screws and chipped corners.
Don’t be fooled by the clunkiness of the new design. Sure it weighs as much as an iMac (11.4 lbs to be exact) and can’t fit easily in any sort of bag, but check out those cool oxidized metal brackets. Watch out for splinters!
Extra thick, durable cord replaces battery.
Forget about low-battery alerts and portability for that matter. The new 4-foot 1,000 gauge power cord always keeps you tethered to the nearest power outlet. Easily attach an extension cord if you need to move around.
Massive display area now illuminated with Tungsten bulb.
LED’s are a thing of the past, no matter what Wired Magazine says. The 15-watt Tungsten bulb showers you with beautiful 5,000K beams of light. The 1/4″ thick plexiglass screen will support even the heaviest of hands.
Works with any stylus.
No. 2 pencil, ballpoint pen, quill – it’s your choice! Use sketch mode for a hand-drawn look. Toggle tracing mode to refine your drawing.
